Diploma in Sustainable Construction

The Diploma in Sustainable Construction course will equip you with the skills to control water runoff; reduce water usage; and install water harvesting and storage systems.
Understanding the impact of poor airtightness in a building, you will learn about the materials and methods used to provide the best airtightness conditions for sustainable construction.
Other modules covered include learning how to interpret regulations and standards relating to building energy performance; assessing the energy use in buildings; interpreting thermal imaging data to improve energy performance; interpreting the legal responsibilities for preparing and managing a site waste management plan; and assessing and managing waste production and the financial impact of waste on budgets.

This is a full-time tutor-led course.

Junior Cert standard of education with pass in English and Maths. Previous knowledge of or experience in Construction Industry
