The aim of this module is to provide the trainee with the knowledge and skill to maintain and replace components associated with the wheels, and the steering and suspension systems of cars and light commercial vehicles.

On successful completion of the programme, learners may progress to further education and training.

This is a tutor led in house course where the learner will gain knowledge and experience in wheel, steering and suspension maintenance.

  • Education: Applicants seeking entry to the programme should have achieved a minimum of a QQI Level 3 Major Award or its equivalent prior to entry to the programme.
  • Aptitude: Good numerical and communication skills are essential, including verbal and written command of the English language.
  • Previous Experience: n/a.

To gain entry into employment where you would maintain and replace components associated with the wheels, and the steering and suspension systems of cars and light commercial vehicles.
